Heyo all!
I'm in Hong Kong and I'm updating. Heinous crime, I know... My 3.5 weeks in HK were supposed to cut me off from the US, but [evil laughter] I can't keep myself from everything [weak laugh]. Hong Kong's great. Hell, first day was good/bad. Good in the fact i blew 700 dollars HK on anime DVDs. [Saiyuki Reloaded 130, GetBackers 240, GTO 200, Chobits 130] Chobits has the best look overall by FAR. I mean, at least all the subtitles were right so far [im only on 2nd disk] and it's HELLA funny. GetBackers and Saiyuki subtitles were sketchy sometimes and are kinda...bad...? I'm looking for a more specific word, but I don't have time to think. Uncle's [mom's side, i'm living at my mom's side's until my thurday, which is your wednesday] phone line is jammed up, and he's got calls to make, so i'll make this as short as i can, though it won't be all that short, XD.
So, i'll explain the bad aspect of my first day. The smart people should have guessed already that HK is somewhere near the EQUATOR. What does that mean? That means I'm suffering from intolerable humidity on top of ghastly high temperatures. 32 degrees celcius with 80 percent humidity = virtual hell. Now account for all the extra heat given off by the thousands of ACs going off in Hong Kong, which the Greenhouse Effect and we've got an oven. It's hot down here, and I kinda like it, XD!
Tuesday i spent a day with my mom's side of the family [i primarily live with my dad's side, i can't say i dont like being spoiled. in truth, both sides spoil me because im the only kid in the family that "hasn't gone wrong"] We went yum tza, as all Chinese people go in the mornings, and had our dim sum, XD. And then my greater aunt came and took me to tsim sa tsui and did mondo shopping again. I'm sure Annie would be jealous at all the shopping i'm getting in, that shopaholic, "^_^"! I blew...I think about 100 dollars on cards that day... Then we went to mong kok and to "women's street" [no idea how to type that in chinese...] and got Souvenirs for Van and my parents. Yes Van, dear, I DOOOOOOOOOO remember your bday, and I DID get you your present. Rest assured you'll get it when I get back. Then I waited for my older cousin [who, btw, is in SUCH a huge mess right now] at his shrink [yea, see what i mean?] for 45 minutes and went to grandma's [mom] for dinah. 10.30, then home, then some Saiyuki, then sleep.
Well DAMN!!!!!! I gotta go, uncle's gotta make calls, but as soon as i get the comp back, MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!! Clive will get his say again!!!! Okok...insanity...but now I gotta go.

I've come to the conclusion of things lately... Life is an irrational thing that is at once overrated and underrated all the same. Why do I have to have an outlook on things positively if, at the same time, I know that I'll be lying to myself likewise when I can honestly say that I really don't care at all? Some people want it all, I really don't care. Some people want nothing, hell, I wish I can say the same. I'm a very hypocritical person as well. I also admit that, though I'll be in constant denial as to who I really am. So why should I even bother typing all of this, here at two o clock in the morning sipping lightly on my chocolate soy milk (hell, i love those things) when i know that all but...oh, 2 or 3 people will even glance at this and think about it to themselves? Because I care, that's why. I realize that I'm not perfect. I realize that I'm not all that likable at times. I realize that I'm stuck up at times. I realize that I'm not as great as I wished I was. I do realize that I'm stupid for wishing my world wasn't real. And finally, most importantly, I realize that I've lied to myself way too often.
The dilemma occured to me as soon as I realized the state of loneliness, oh hell, affairs I would be in once I reached Hong Kong, my surrogate home for the next month. The place where I was born, the place with virtually all my forgotten memories. I tell myself that "well Clive, you were born here, you speak the language, you look the bill, you'll do just fine." To that, I started to NOT think about it anymore, my usual approach to things, look, work, set, leave, forget. A constant cycle. But the thoughts weren't leaving. I started to think, "what will I frickin DO?!" To which I answer myself, "visit relatives??" True, i could go visit relatives, but I wouldn't know how to get there. What a pitiful joke, I was born there, and yet I have no way of knowing how to get around? But anyways. As I thought of this predicament, I came across the fact that I really have no fucking idea as to what the hell I'm doing. And of course, as I thought more and more about this, I inevitably tie this to everything else that's going on in my life. I'm left one confused and frustrated little boy. Call it teenage angst, but no one really knows how I'm feeling right now, since it's beyond what I'm describing here. Hell, I can't really describe much here. I try and I try, but it doesn't really work.
Im pretty sure that the people who read up till THIS point right here realize to some degree what predicament I'm going through right now. The whole fucking thing simply boils down to "I've lied to myself once too often, I'm not really who I think I am and I really don't know where I'm taking myself." Time I found some direction. and it's here, that I solemnly (as I can, I suppose) swear, that I will find myself in Hong Kong, and come back a changed person. And for christssakes, since I'm done lying to myself (though not to my parents, that part still escapes me) I'll do as Kelvin (who i do indeed owe alot to 'megaman!!!!') said for me to do. I'm bi, as if the smart people couldn't figure as such. (no more DDS games for YOU, Brian, you slumbitch 'ender's game reference')If you read that and still wish to look me straight in the face and see me as a friend, I'll deem you as such and consider you a human being. This seriously took a long time for me to grasp, so yea, have some slack on me, I'm a stubborn person. Oh yea, I realized that too, haha...
